Ingredients for 2 cups
- Chamomile (3-4 teaspoons)
- Honey (teaspoon)
- Lemon (squeezed)
- Peppermint (3 – 4 drops)
- Hot boiling water
Put ingredients in a teapot. The chamomile in a net, pour hot boiling water, add honey directly with a spoon, squeeze the lemon and add the peppermint drops. Let it stay for 5 – 7 minutes and enjoy.
This tea is also helpful if you are experiencing a stuffed nose. While it can release the mucus that is stuck.
The chamomile soothes and gives relaxation. Honey helps as a anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory agent. The peppermint eases the breathing and can also help reliefing the pain associated with the stuffedness.
The tea itself tastes delicious and can of course be served in any occasion. It is refreshing and calming.
