Here in Denmark spring weather is blossoming. Beautiful sunny skies with a twist of fresh cold wind. The earth is still frozen and the trees are naked. At this time it is perfect to clean up and introduce the body for fresh vegetables / fruits. To start your spring healthy “The Spinach Smoothie” is in the to-do list.



2 pers.

– two handful spinach leaves
– 1 banana
– 3 oranges
– squeeze some lemon
– a handful linseeds
– 4 stems parsley
additionally for higher protein
– 2 spoons pea protein powder
– 1 dl yoghurt / Skyr

preferably buy organic grown groceries, while they contain less waste products that interferes with absorption.

1. Collect your ingredients.
2. Cleanse the spinach and parsley in a water bath. Check the bath for dirt and continue washing till all dirt is off.
3. To mix, put ingredients in shaker or similar. Use a staff blender and blend til creamy.
4. Serve ice cold with blended ice in the mix or add ice cubes.

The smoothie is rich in: A, B (Riboflavin, thiamine, Niacin, B5, B6), C, K, and E vitamins; Omega 3 and 6 Essential oils; Iron, Zinc and manganese Minerals.

Enjoy starting your spring with a nourishing healthy smoothie.
